A few days into the future so I can find out what the lottery numbers are. So I can go back and play them.
I’d want to go to past , to Elizabethan age, and umm, probably meet shakespeare!
i would go to dinosaur time
10 minutes in the past to warn myself not to eat the microwave burrito i just had, frozen burritos give me gas and not the kind you find at the pumps.
I would probably go back a billion years, just to see what it was like
I would love to go to the time of the early colonies being settled. No on second thought I’d like to go to the Daniel Boone era.( as long as you’re sure I will have a ticket bach at my choice ) LOL
I’d go back to the time before man inhabited the Earth. When the Earth was truly a paradise and see all the exotic animals and plants. The time when God walked the Earth enjoying his creations.
neither i’d end up screwing the future and sending the world into a black hole (LHC Machine here we come!)
I want to be greedy and:
1. Go back to the point where/how/why the Universe/Time/Space began and then come back and explain it all to Einstein/Hawking
2. Then go forward to see how far technology could advance us or destroy us or make us invincible…and to see if the kingdom of god really establishes itself OR the cycle of life take us back to paradise time (end of Kali cycle) OR to see if there is indeed no god…and come back and explain it all to the B Gates/A Turing/pope/pundit/priest/imam ;P
past. to the beginning of everything. i wan to witness it myself how did it happened
The American revolution. I’ve always wanted to go back then, snatch Ben Franklin, and bring him back to our time to show him some of the wondrous results of his early research into electricity. He’d be totally blown away, but he’d dig it.
Then, I’d want to go way back to the early days of evolution, and take some time lapse photography of it actually happening, to shut the fundies up for good.
I would go back to the time when Christ was alive to figure out just what it was he did or said to screw up everyone’s understanding of the universe…. But, I guess someone else would just do it earlier or later.
More effective would be to go back to the first time any human being imagined a being greater than himself, a god. Then I would try to to figure out a way to stop him from propagating the idea.
As nice as going back would be, to see how people lived, I think it would be more valuable to travel forward in time, perhaps to Oxford or one of the other great institutions of sciences and learning to see how things are progressing or regressed.
Hopefully progressing and to have achieved higher goals of ending human and animal suffering, not to mention technology and overall quality of life, the arts, culture and human contentment/happiness
I would travel with Colombus and talk to the Indians.
Can’t go to the future it hasn’t happened yet.
I’d like to travel back to see life during the English Civil War.
