What Visa do i need to visit America and work part time whilst traveling to fund my trip?

You probably do not qualify for a work visa. You cannot work with a travel visa. You need a H1B which is requested by an employer to fill a job that is a specialty occupation (Fashion model, actor, engineer, scientist, etc.). Some student visas also will allow you to work.
